Someone please give Jagr smelling salts so the Czechs can go out and beat those Finns (and keep my marriage going - I didn't think I was going to survive the game with Latvia; my daughter was shocked at the blue streak my wife hurls at the screen when her countrymen play hockey).

you know what is really sad? i didnt even know Jagr was still playing hockey. and i am somewhat a hockey fan. good grief.
(though, judging from his last year or so in the NHL, those smelling salts wont help him a single iota)

Yea, he's been playing in Russia. Good pay, not nearly as physical as the NHL, and long time off between games. He's pretty much on the national team to give his knowledge of past and inspiration.
